Union Home Minister Amit Shah is scheduled to reach Manipur’s capital city Imphal on Monday on a four-day visit after fresh violence erupted in the area on Sunday. The home minister will assess the situation and plan further steps to restore normalcy.

Quoting sources, news gathering agency ANI reported that the Home Minister will hold several rounds of security meetings during his stay in Manipur.
