Andhalkar in police custody till Monday

Retired inspector with the rural police Bhausaheb Andhalkar, who was arrested by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Wednesday night in a disproportionate assets case, was produced in the Shivajinagar court and remanded in police custody till Monday
ACP (ACB) Hemant Bhatt produced Andhalkar before the court of special judge A P Kurhekar seeking his custody for seven days.u00a0
The ACB began investigating after an receiving an anonymous letter last year about Andhalkar’s disproportionate assets.
The ACB officials discovered that Andhalkar’s unaccounted assets are valued at around Rs 1.58 crore.
