PIC/KRUNAL GOSAVIu00a0 Public prosecutor Pratap Jadhav, while arguing for police custody of the former PI, said Andhalkar had joined the police force in 1977 as a constable and took voluntary retirement in 2011. Jadhav said during this period, Andhalkar amassed a lot of property in his name. He added that Andhalkar&rsquo;s assets include stone crushers, land, a restaurant in Solapur, a marriage hall, paver-block factory and a weighbridge. Jadhav also told the court that Andhalkar had land and property in the city and Solapur in the names of relatives. While seeking police custody, he said that the ACB would need some time to investigate the case, as the suspect is not cooperating. Andhalkar&rsquo;s defence lawyers, Pratap Pardeshi and Sudhir Shah, told the court that the ACB had given Andhalkar a clean chit in the same case, and the report was also submitted to the director general of police, but now the bureau was again trying to rake up the issue unnecessarily. Andhalkar alleged that the complainant in the case, additional superintendent of police (ACB) Sharad Thonge Patil, was being pressurised by NCP MLAs Dilip Sopal and Rajendra Raut. &ldquo;I have been targeted as I joined the Shiv Sena recently. They are making me a scapegoat by slapping false case against me,&rdquo; Andhalkar alleged in court.u00a0
