Amidst the ongoing stir over alleged incidents of holy book sacrilege, a similar case today surfaced from Kadiyana village here, following which the accused was immediately nabbed
Jalandhar: Amidst the ongoing stir over alleged incidents of holy book sacrilege, a similar case today surfaced from Kadiyana village here, following which the accused was immediately nabbed.
"A case of sacrilege of Guru Granth Sahib came into light from a Gurudwara in Kadiyana village of Adampur area. Locals immediately nabbed the culprit, Avtar Singh. After which police arrested him," SSP (rural) Harmohan Singh said. When police along with the accused did not reach the police station, hundreds of protesters reached there, sources said.
