Arup Patnaik suffers mild heart attack

Was rushed to Jaslok hospital after he complained of chest pain; doctors performed an angiography and an angioplasty with stent placement in his right coronary artery
A week after ex-police Mumbai police commissioner Arup Patnaik was shunted from his post, he suffered a mild heart attack yesterday. After complaining of chest pain in the morning, Patnaik was brought to Jaslok hospital, in south Mumbai, where he is under the watchful eye of cardiologist Dr A B Mehta.
