New Delhi: Within days of being moved from the finance ministry to tourism, Arvind Mayaram was Thursday transferred to the minority affairs ministry as secretary.

The appointments committee of the cabinet (ACC) has approved cancellation of the order of appointment of Mayaram, a 1978 batch IAS officer, as secretary, tourism ministry, a statement by the ministry of personnel and pensions said here.
