Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma takes oath as MLA on first day of new Assembly

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Thursday took oath as a Member of the Legislative Assembly on the opening day of the 16th Assam Legislative Assembly.
The oath ceremony was conducted at the Assembly premises in Guwahati, where Protem Speaker Chandra Mohan Patowary administered the oath to the Chief Minister.
