The front trolley of a locomotive hauling a passenger train derailed in the Lumding-Badarpur hill section of Assam on Thursday morning, disrupting railway services, reported the PTI.

All passengers were safe, and no casualties or injuries were reported, according to an official statement from the Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR).
