Yoga guru Baba Ramdev yesterday backed BJP prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi on the issue of his marital status. Ramdev yesterday said that he appreciated Modi for his honesty, and the Congress leaders who constantly criticise him should look at their own weaknesses. He was in the city to conduct a yoga workshop.

While addressing media persons, Ramdev said, "If Modi's wife Jashodaben does not have any issues with Modi, why are Congress leaders interested in his personal life?" He added that BJP has never raised a question as to why Rahul Gandhi is still unmarried.
