The Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) yesterday told the court of Judicial Magistrate (First Class) S S Bose during the police custody hearing of Mohammad Qateel Siddiqui — accused of trying to plant a bomb at the Shrimant Dagdushet temple — that the alleged Indian Mujahideen operative and mastermind behind the German Bakery blast, Yaseen Bhatkal, was hiding in Bihar. While accepting the prosecution plea, the court extended the police custody of Qateel till May 28.u00a0

Assistant Commissioner of Police (ATS) Samad Shaikh, who produced Qateel in court in the afternoon, said in court: “As per the investigation of Qateel, we have came to know that Bhatkal is currently hiding in Bihar. However, Qateel is not cooperating and giving vague answers.”
