Batla House case: IM operative Shahzad Ahmad found guilty of killing cop

A Delhi court on Thursday convicted the lone accused and Indian Mujahideen (IM) operative Shahzad Ahmad in the 2008 Batla House shootout. The judge convicted Ahmad for killing Delhi Police Special Cell Inspector M.C. Sharma.

Lone suspected Indian Mujahideen operative Shahzad Ahmad was on Thursday convicted in the 2008 Batla House encounter case by a Delhi court for murdering a police inspector and assaulting other officers.

The court will pronounce its order on sentence on Monday.
