Amid the rising enthusiasm for Bihar Election 2025, popular YouTuber and educator Khan Sir on Thursday cast his vote in Patna. After casting his vote, Khan Sir appealed to young electors to turn out in large numbers at polling booths to strengthen the democratic process, news agency PTI reported.

Speaking to reporters after exercising his franchise, educator Khan Sir highlighted that India is the mother of democracy, and voting is the only moment when every citizen stands "equal", irrespective of wealth or status.

“India is the mother of democracy, and voting is everyone's right. This is the only moment when the poor and the rich become equal. If one does not cast their vote, it is very unfortunate. What is the benefit of living in a democracy?” he said.

Urging voters to choose candidates carefully, Khan Sir further stated, “Cast your vote wisely. Choose whoever you think is the right candidate. Preferably vote for someone in your constituency who is good and keeps education, employment, health and security in mind.”

The famous YouTuber, who has a significant social media following across every platform, further stressed that a low turnout weakens the democratic participation.

“If people do not vote, others begin to question the value of democracy. And if you don't vote today, tomorrow an ignorant person may end up ruling over you,” asserted Khan Sir.

When asked about his message for voters, he reiterated that participation was more important than political preference.

“Vote for whichever party you support, but you must go out and vote. Even if you don't like any candidate, press NOTA, but do cast your vote. Especially among the young generation, there seems to be a trend of low voting; this perception should be broken, and the young generation must come forward,” Khan Sir further emphasised.

The first phase of polling for Bihar Election 2025 is underway. A total of 3.75 crore voters will decide the electoral fate of 1,314 candidates, including top leaders such as INDIA bloc's chief ministerial face Tejashwi Yadav and Deputy CM Samrat Choudhary of the BJP. Until 3 pm, the state had recorded 54 per cent polling.
