Bihar elections 2025: NDA releases their manifesto for state assembly polls

Two days after the INDIA bloc unveiled its manifesto, the NDA released its 69-page Bihar election manifesto promising 1 crore jobs, 7 international airports, metro services in 4 more cities, and free education from KG to PG. The alliance also pledged Rs 2,000 monthly aid for SC students

After the INDIA bloc released its manifesto for the Bihar assembly elections on October 29, the NDA two days later also released its manifesto on Friday. 

The manifesto released by the National Democratic Alliance promises jobs to one crore youth, making one crore 'Lakhpathi Didi', metro train services in four more cities and seven international airports in the state, among others.


The manifesto launched by the NDA also promises seven motorways, 10 industrial parks, free quality education from KG to PG and Rs 2,000 aid per month for SC students pursuing higher education, along with other things. 



As reported by news agency PTI, the NDA, if voted to power, will also set up a world-class medicity, one medical college in each district, free rations, free treatment up to Rs 5 lakh and 50 lakh more pucca houses, according to the 69-page manifesto of the ruling NDA.

The Bihar manifesto launched by the NDA also promises that the 'Punaura Dham Janki Mandir', which is a Hindu pilgrimage site in Sitamarhi district, will be named as Sitapuram. The sacred Hindu site in Sitamarhi is considered to be the birthplace of the goddess Sita.

The manifesto was released at a press conference attended by Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Deputy CM Samrat Choudhary, BJP president JP Nadda, Union ministers Dharmendra Pradhan, Jitan Ram Manjhi, and Chirag Paswan, and leaders of alliance partners, as reported by news agency PTI. 

Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary, while launching the NDA manifesto, said that "the NDA will provide more than 1 crore government jobs and employment opportunities, conduct a skill census to promote skill-based employment, and establish Mega Skill Centres in every district, which will be further developed into Global Skilling Centres," as cited by news agency PTI. 

The Deputy Chief Minister, who hails from the BJP, said that “Under the Chief Minister Women Employment Scheme, financial assistance of up to Rs 2 lakh will be provided to women for prosperity and self-reliance if the NDA is returned to power,” as per PTI. 

Moreover, one crore 'Lakhpathi Didi' will also be made by the NDA, and through the 'Mission Crorepati' initiative, we will work towards making identified women entrepreneurs become millionaires, according to the manifesto.

In view of uplifting the extremely backward classes in Bihar and encouraging entrepreneurship, the NDA promises that the government, if it comes to power, will provide Rs 10 lakh financial assistance to various professional groups belonging to the category.

'Panchamrit' guarantees for the poor are free rations, free treatment worth Rs 5 lakh, and 50 lakh more pucca houses across Bihar.

The manifesto launched on October 31 by the NDA further states that “Financial assistance under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi will be increased from Rs 6,000 to Rs 9,000 annually, aid for fishermen will be enhanced from Rs 4,500 to Rs 9,000 annually, and a minimum support price for all crops,” as reported by news agency PTI. 

The manifesto by the NDA also states that Bihar Sports City and Centres of Excellence for sports in every division of the state will be opened in order to enhance the sports infrastructure. 

While one factory and 10 new industrial parks in every district will be set up if the NDA focuses majorly on promoting investments and establishments of industries across the state.
