With the Bihar elections just around the corner, the political jibe by the parties within the state has been intensifying. On Friday, the Bihar minister and BJP leader Hari Sahni took a jibe at RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav. The BJP leader, while slamming former CM Lalu Yadav’s son Tejashwi, said that his party's government did not offer even one per cent of jobs in Bihar.

While criticising Mahagatbandhan’s one of the probable CM faces in the 2025 assembly election, Sahni asserted that “Tejashwi Yadav and RJD work for their family when in power,” as cited by news agency ANI.

Hari Sahni, while talking to the media on Friday, said that "His (Tejashwi Yadav's) parents (Lalu Prasad Yadav and Rabri Devi), together, during their long tenure, did not provide even one per cent of the jobs... There are not even 50 lakh jobs in Bihar; how will he provide three crore jobs? Everyone knows that when they are in power, they live for their family, and when they are out of power, they do politics by telling lies. People already know their character," as reported by news agency ANI.

Furthermore, the Bihar minister also expressed confidence in NDA's victory, saying that Bihar has moved from "jungle raj to mangal raj".

He added, "The people of Bihar have made up their minds that, during the NDA's tenure, Bihar has moved from jungle raj to mangal raj. In Bihar, a strong NDA government will be formed again," as cited by news agency ANI.

On the other hand, BJP leader Ajay Alok also criticised Tejashwi Yadav and Congress MP Rahul Gandhi by calling them "fools".

BJP leader Ajay Alok said, "Just one fool is enough to destroy a garden; there are two in the 'Mahagathbandhan' in Bihar... It took your grandmother 50 years to end poverty... Grandmother passed away, Father passed away, and now the grandson has come... There are a total of 2 crore 65 lakh jobs in the nation, and they alone will give three crore government jobs in Bihar?" as per ANI.

The BJP leader further added that the NDA has promised one crore jobs ahead of the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections.

"The BJP and Nitish Kumar said they would provide 19 lakh jobs, in which they gave 10 lakh government jobs and over 15 lakh jobs. Now we are promising 1 crore jobs, out of which 10 lakhs will be government jobs," he added, as reported by ANI.

The criticism of RJD and Tejaswi Yadav comes after he announced the making of a law ensuring government jobs for every household if voted to power in Bihar and stated that he does not need to provide any proof to implement his announcement.
