New Delhi: The Bharatiya Janata Party on Tuesday accused Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain of converting "black money into white" with the help of a 'hawala' operator, after the AAP leader was summoned by the Income Tax department on Tuesday for questioning over his investments in few Kolkata-based companies.
"It is a clear case of converting black money into white with the help of hawala operator Jasvinder Mishra from Kolkata, who was operating 136 companies from single room," Delhi BJP leader Sardar R.P. Singh said in a statement. He alleged that Jain was a shareholder in a company from March 7, 2008 to July 31, 2013 and had 23 per cent stake in the company.
