In view of the upcoming <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/news/india-news/article/bjp-set-to-launch-campaign-to-woo-ups-muslim-voters-23333493" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">Lok Sabha elections</a>, a joint meeting between the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) is likely to be held in Dehradun on February 19, sources said on Sunday, reported news agency ANI.
Leaders from both the BJP and RSS are expected to attend the coordination meeting in Dehradun, including Arun Kumar from the RSS and Organization General Secretary BL Santosh from the BJP.
The <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/news/india-news/article/cong-and-india-allies-concerned-only-about-securing-votes-in-name-of-caste-census-nadda-23331401" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">coordination meeting in Dehradun</a> comes ahead of the BJP's national convention scheduled to be held on Feb 17 and 18 at Bharat Mandapam in Delhi, reported ANI.
The convention will be inaugurated by the party's national president JP Nadda and conclude with a closing address by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
A preliminary meeting of <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/news/india-news/article/rahul-gandhi-lives-in-la-la-world-repeatedly-keeps-on-spreading-lies-rajeev-chandrasekhar-23330254" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">BJP's national office bearers</a> is also planned a day before the convention, reported ANI.
As per party leaders, the general secretaries, convenors of cells, presidents of all Morchas, municipal corporations, municipalities, <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/news/india-news/article/bharatiya-janata-party-rejects-rahul-gandhis-accusations-on-ram-temple-consecration-ceremony-23330244" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">nagar panchayats</a>, and district panchayats will be invited to the convention, reported ANI.
The National Executive, National Council office bearers, district presidents across the country, district in-charges, Lok Sabha in-charges, Cluster in-charges, Lok Sabha convenors, Lok Sabha extensionists, Disciplinary Committee, Finance Committee, chief spokespersons of states, Media Cell convenors, IT Cell officials at different levels from across the country, including convenors, have also been invited to the two-day brain-storming session, they added, reported ANI.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to reply to the Motion of Thanks to the President's Address in Lok Sabha on Monday.
President Droupadi Murmu had addressed the joint sitting of Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha on January 31, the first day of the Budget Session.
Meanwhile, the Bharatiya Janata Party has issued a three-line whip to all its MPs in Lok Sabha to be present in the Lower House on the fourth day of the ongoing Budget Session.
Apart from this, as per the List of Business in the House for the day, Lok Sabha MPs Ravneet Singh and Ramshiromani Verma will lay on the table the minutes of the twelfth sitting of the Committee on Absence of Members from the sittings of the House held on December 14, 2023.
The last session before Lok Sabha polls expected to be held in April-May this year will be spread over eight sittings spread over a period of 10 days and may conclude on February 9.&nbsp;
