BJP workers to gherao State Assembly today

Around 2,500 Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers left for Nagpur yesterday by a special train to gherao the State Assembly today to protest against several issues dogging the common man.
The winter session commenced yesterday and BJP state president Sudhir Mungantiwar would lead the agitation. The protest will be higlighting several issues, including low rates paid to raw cotton, paddy and soyabean growers, FDI in retail, inflation, corruption, rising electricity bills and rationing of subsidised LPG cylinders.u00a0
“Party workers from all the five constituencies in the city are going to Nagpur and have been joined by party workers from Ahmednagar,” Shripad Dhekane, treasurer of BJP’s city unit, said.
