Random events and mistakes take lead in an upcoming solo show To give art and design a functional perspective, the gallery has sourced the talent of artist Vijay Patchineelam whose work engages the audience in a dialogue. He is presenting his series titled 'Guillotine Series', which consists of large format monochrome oils, in black, white or grey, on paper. u00a0 His series is all about repetition and the subtleties of the activity. He has also used photography as a means to documenting site-specific work that happens inside a studio. u00a0 The transitory nature of most his works led him to use photography for depiction and exhibition. He sees his attempts to organise objects as failed attempts and so it does not interest him to simulate or transcribe them into a gallery. Where : Seven Art Limited Gallery, M 44/2, M Block Market, Greater Kailash II When: November 18 to January 10 At: 11 am to 7 pm (Mon to Sat) Ring : 64640884
