Bijapur Bulls decides on Kannadiga beauty Suman Ranganath instead and Belgaum Panthers does away with chosen brand ambassadors
Aindrita Ray's KPL dreams went from Rs 2 lakh to Rs 3 lakh to Rs 10 lakh and poof! It was back to earth with a thud in a matter of days.
The Junglee star was the first choice of brand ambassador for Bijapur Bulls but eventually lost out to Kannada actress-turned-Bollywood star Suman Ranganath.
Nandeesh Reddy, owner of the Bijapur team in the Karnataka Premier League, had approached Aindrita and the deal was almost settled for Rs 2 lakh.
Till Aindrita heard that fellow artiste Pooja Gandhi was demanding Rs 10 lakh for the same role.
Reddy's budget didn't allow him to go beyond Rs 3 lakh but that was not enough for the star.
What settled the matter was some agents promising to get her Rs 10 lakh from the Belgaum team.
