The duo had an altercation with some vagabonds

A 27-year-old CA and his friend who reportedly works with an aviation company were allegedly stabbed by three armed vagabonds in Defence Colony area of south Delhi.

Both the CA and his friend suffered critical stab wounds and are at AIIMS trauma Centre. A senior police official said that the three accused identified as Deepak alias Joni, Kamal Kishore and Mohit alias Rohit had fled from the spot,u00a0 but were arrested.

"Sachin Joshi the victim works as Chartered Accountant at Nirman Bhawan. He and his friend Anil Rawat were returning home after a party when they had an argument with the accused who were also returning after a liquor party.

They passed derogatory remarks that led to a verbal dual among them. The argument got heated up and then the stabbing occurred," said the police official.
