In its latest report, Comptroller and Auditor General has stated that no objection certificates were not obtained from landowners before going ahead with the slum rehabilitation project involving 125 acres near Santacruz

125 acres of land, 26,000 slum dwellings, and one builder — the main players of the controversial Golibar slum rehabilitation project in a nutshell. All this has come under the scanner of Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG). In its latest report recently tabled before the state legislature, CAG states that there’s no evidence of no objection certificates (NOCs) from landowners in favour of the project.
