The results of the Common Admission Test (CAT) conducted by the IIMs were out yesterday morning. But several candidates could not access their scorecards; all theyu00a0 could get to know was if they had got through to any of the IIMs.

Around 12,000 students from the city had appeared for the entrance test for admissions to 11 IIMs and over 150 B-schools this year. Overall, around 1.9 lakh students gave the exam held between October 27 and November 24.

"Till morning students could access scorecards but after that, because of a technical hitch, they were unable to do so," an official from TIME's said. "Those hoping to get into one of the IIMs got to know their fate. The other centres are yet to come out with results."

The results for Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Ranchi and Lucknow were out. Students were not sure when the others centres would upload results.

Sources said eight students in the country scored 100 percentile, and one of them was from the city.
