Party supremo unhappy over Rahul's cold shoulder despite getting positive response from Congress chief Sonia Gandhi over seat-sharing pattern for the upcoming 2014 Lok Sabha election
It may not come as a surprise if the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) decides to go solo for the upcoming 2014 Lok Sabha elections, instead of sharing the pie with the Congress. Sources in the party claimed that top echelons were seriously discussing the prospect of going solo.
This they said was the outcome of difference of opinions between the two Gandhis in the Congress -- Sonia and Rahul -- which left the NCP bigwigs no choice but to assess the party’s position with its current alliance partner.
