The officials were caught taking bribe, red-handed

The Central Bureau of Investigation arrested two superintendents of Central Excise in Nagpur on Monday, for demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs 15,000. They were brought to the Capital yesterday.

CBI officials said the complainant (identity withheld), a resident of Nagpur, had alleged the accused demanded Rs 15,000 to return photocopies of documents seized by the Central Excise Department during a raid on his premises on 30 June. He needed the documents for audit purposes.u00a0
