CBI to move Supreme Court next week to seek removal of 'tainted' officer

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has said that it will approach the Supreme Court on Monday with a petition to remove from service its own Superintendent of Police, who was arrested here for allegedly taking a bribe to settle a land dispute.

Vivek Dutt, who was heading the coal scam probe team, was arrested on Friday along with an inspector and two others for allegedly taking a bribe of Rs.15 lakh from a businessman outside the CBI headquarters in New Delhi.
