Centre funding project to expand water supply to Pune

State approved plan and proposal was forwarded to the Centre, which has agreed to finance 50 per cent of the expansion of Wadgaon Water Refilling Centre
The Central Government has approved funding for the 42-km underground water pipeline from Bhama-Askhed dam to the city under the Jawaharlal Nehru National Urban Renewal Mission (JNNURM) on Tuesday. The decision took place at a meeting held in Delhi. It will help to get additional two TMC water for the city.
