Centre to send special team to curb accidents in Maharashtra

With 12,600 accidents registered annually, Maharashtra is the state with the second highest number of road mishaps in the country; special team to suggest measures to curb alarming number of accidents
Considering the number of road accidents, which are rising at an alarming rate, the central government has now decided to take matters in it own hands. It has been learnt that soon, the centre would be sending a special team to all the states where the number of road mishaps are high in the country, including Maharashtra.
