Controversial spiritual guru Asaram Bapu survived a scare after the helicopter he was travelling in crash-landed in a graveyard.
A private helicopter carrying self-styled godman Asaram Bapu's son Narayan Sai and three others crash-landed, apparently due to a technical snag, in a cemetery at Ahmedabad's Gomatipur area on Wednesday, police said.
However, the occupants of the four-seater VTHPC-make chopper of TEJ Airways escaped with minor injuries when it made a vertical crash-landing in Chartoda cemetery after declaring an emergency at around 6:22 PM, apparently due to some technical snag, Air Traffic Control (ATC) sources said.
