In A matter of minutes since word got out yesterday that Christ University may lose its deemed university status, former students were rejoicing in cyber world.
It was clear from status messages on chat applications and Facebook profile statuses furiously being changed to reflect the views of former students on the developmentu00a0 that they had hated the new deemed university system put in place in 2008.
Christ College, as it was earlier known, became Christ University after a UGC-based accreditation programme kicked off the process of autonomy in 2007.
