The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) has been formally inducted to provide security at the Propellant Complex, Rasayani, an important Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) facility in Maharashtra’s Raigad district, an official statement said.
The facility, located around 80 km from Mumbai and 20 km from Panvel, is part of the Satish Dhawan Space Centre (SDSC SHAR) under the Department of Space. It is a key unit responsible for producing propellants for launch vehicles.
