A Class 12 student in Uttar Pradesh's Mainpuri town was killed over a love affair with his school teacher, police said on Friday, adding the teacher's mother has been taken into custody for her alleged involvement in the killing.

The body of Veekesh, 18, student of SLR Public School, was recovered on Thursday from Hemchandra Park in Mainpuri town, some 200 km from Lucknow.
