US-based connectivity cloud company Cloudflare has announced plans to eliminate more than 1,100 jobs globally as part of a major organisational restructuring linked to the rapid rise of artificial intelligence (AI) within the company’s operations, reported IANS.
According to an internal memo circulated to employees, the US-based connectivity cloud company said the restructuring is aimed at adapting to what it described as the emerging “agentic AI era,” where AI systems increasingly perform tasks traditionally handled by employees across departments, reported IANS.
