CM Chavan to meet Pune Merchants Association over LBT strike today

In response to the indefinite strike of traders against the local body tax (LBT), Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan has called a meeting with the representatives of Pune Merchant Association in Mumbai today at 4 pm.

President of the Association Popatlal Oswal said, “We have formed a five-member committee to discuss the issue with the CM. It includes me, Fatechand Ranka, Suryakant Pathak, Mahendra Pitaliya and Ajit Sethiya. MLA Mohan Joshi has organised this meeting.”
