Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta led a protest of the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) legislators at the Assembly premises on Tuesday, ahead of a one-day special session to discuss the unsuccessful passage of the Women’s Reservation Bill in Parliament.
During the special sitting of the Assembly, BJP MLAs, along with the Chief Minister, staged a demonstration in the Assembly complex demanding implementation of the Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam (Women’s Reservation Act).
