Jammu: A Congress Party activist in Jammu and Kashmir, who is also the organising and publicity secretary of the party's state unit, has confirmed that he has filed a formal police complaint against unknown persons who reportedly circulated fake and hate tweets from an unverified Twitter handle in a bid to smear his reputation.

Salman Nizami told media here on Thursday that he has asked the state police (SDPO Jammu East) to identify these unknown persons.
