New Delhi: Congress president Sonia Gandhi, admitted to a hospital here for an infection in her lower respiratory tract, was discharged Tuesday, a doctor said.

"Her condition is stable. She has been advised rest and to continue her medication," said D.S. Rana of the Sir Ganga Ram Hospital where Gandhi was admitted Dec 18.
