55-year-old police inspector committed suicide after senior police officer scolded him for not placing barricade on the road during a nakabandi earlier in the day
A police officer shot himself with his service revolver on Saturday night following a tiff with his superior earlier in the day. Prabhakar Patil (55), police sub-inspector attached with Turbhe police station, Navi Mumbai, in his two-page suicide note has pinned the blame on Senior Police Inspector MM Patil, accusing him of harassment.u00a0
Kalamboli resident Prabhakar shot himself in Panvel at around 11.45 pm, hours after he and MM Patil were embroiled in an alleged argument over the placement of a barricade during a nakabandi.
