Cops book LS candidate, 10 others for manhandling poll official

Mundhwa police booked Maharashtra Lokshahi Aghadi candidate Nana Kshirsagar and 10 of his supporters on the charges of manhandling a government official, who had asked Kshirsagar to put up permissions procured for their foot march at the front of the vehicles used in his 'padyatra' on Saturday in Ghorpadi.

Kshirsagar and his activists have been booked under sections 353 (obstructing public servant from discharge of duty), 351 (assault), 323 (voluntarily causing hurt), 504 (insult to provoke breach of peace), 506 (criminal intimidation) and 34 (common intention) of Indian Penal Code.
