New Delhi: A court here Monday took cognizance of the charge sheet filed against a driver of the Uber taxi company who was accused of raping a 27-year-old woman executive here Dec 5.

Metropolitan Magistrate Ajay Kumar Malik took cognizance of the charge sheet and transferred the case to sessions court, posting the matter for Jan 7.
