Jammu: Jammu and Kashmir government today said that around 28,000 people, affected by the cross border firing along the International Border in Jammu district, have been shifted to various temporary shelters in the state.

"Over 28,000 border residents of Jammu district who were affected by the cross border firing in the Jammu district have been shifted to temporary shelters in Jammu," an official spokesman said. These people belong to Arnia, Trewa, Nikowal, Zora farm, Suchetgarh, Adbullian, Chinore area, Pragwal, Garghal and Hamirpurkona of Jammu district.
