Andhra Pradesh reports two Cyclone Montha deaths; CM Naidu says precautionary measures minimised losses

CM Naidu also asked officials to assess the damage caused by the cyclone across departments so that a comprehensive report could be submitted to the Centre. Additionally, he instructed that essential items, including food and other relief materials, be distributed promptly among the affected people

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister (CM) N Chandrababu Naidu on Wednesday said two deaths have been reported in the state due to the severe cyclonic storm Montha, noting that timely precautionary measures helped minimise the losses.

CM Naidu called upon the entire government machinery to continue relief efforts for another two days to provide further assistance to those affected by the cyclone, news agency PTI reported.
