Dacoits loot Howrah-New Delhi Janata Express in Bihar

Seven railway passengers were injured and valuables worth Rs 2 lakh were allegedly looted from them early today as armed robbers raided two sleeper coaches of Howrah-New Delhi Janata Express near Lahaban station in Bihar's Jamui district.
Seven railway passengers were injured and valuables worth Rs 2 lakh were allegedly looted from them early today as armed robbers raided two sleeper coaches of Howrah-New Delhi Janata Express near Lahaban station in Bihar's Jamui district.
Railway officials said around 20 heavily armed robbers boarded the train No: 3039 UP at Jasidih, divided into two groups and stopped the train by pulling chain at an isolated place near Lahaban in Asansol-Jhajha section of East Central Railway.
