A daughter-in-law of a leading pan masala company owner, allegedly died by suicide at her home in Delhi, police said on Wednesday, reported the PTI.

The 40-year-old deceased had been married since 2010 and was found dead by her husband on Tuesday. He immediately took her to Safdarjung Hospital, where doctors declared her dead on arrival.


According to officials, the couple had been reportedly living in two separate houses allegedly due to ongoing marital disputes, as per the PTI.



During the investigation, police recovered a suicide note in which the woman mentioned persistent conflict with her husband. A diary was also seized, containing several entries about regular disagreements, the news agency reported.

The body has been sent for a post-mortem examination. The woman is survived by two children. Police said further investigation is underway.
