Pakistani-American Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) operative David Headley will depose for the first time before a Mumbai court today through video conference after being made an approver in the 26/11 attacks case, which may further unravel the conspiracy behind the brazen terror strike.

The court is currently trying key plotter Sayed Zabiuddin Ansari alias Abu Jundal. “This is for the first time in the Indian legal history that a ‘foreign terrorist’ will appear before an Indian court and testify,” Special Public Prosecutor Ujjwal Nikam said. Nikam said Headley’s evidence is important for unfolding many facts behind the 26/11 attacks. He, however, refused to divulge any further information. Headley would depose before the court through video conference today and tomorrow 7 am to 12:30 pm.
