Updated On: 06 November, 2012 07:39 AM IST | | Anup Satphale
Taking advantage of a security guard on a lunch break, a one-day-old baby boy was stolen from her cradle, while the mother was taking a nap, at the PCMC-run Yashwantrao Chavan Memorial (YCM) Hospital in Pimpri yesterday.
Police have reviewed CCTV camera recordings from the premise, and have a clear image of the culprit. According to cops, an unknown lady entered the ward between 12.30 and 1 pm, and seeing no guard in the vicinity took the baby and left. The mother, Aparna Pokharkar (27), had given birth at 5 am, and was resting when the incident occurred.u00a0
