<div><b><span style="font-size: 12pt; ">This is the fifth case registered in the matter, the domestic help being the prime accused</span></b></div><div><br /></div><div>In the fifth case related to the infamous Nithari incident which came to light in December 2006, a Ghaziabad court has fixed December 16 for announcement of verdict.u00a0CBI Judge SK Lal will give his judgment on December 16 in the case of killing of 14-year-old Chhoti Payal, in which Surender Kohli is the only accused.u00a0</div><div><br /></div><div>CBI advocate JP Sharma said that it is the fifth case related to the Nithari killings in which businessman Moninder Singh Pandher and his domestic help Kohli were arrested following discovery of human remains from a drain behind Pandher's house in Noida in the outskirts of Delhi.</div><div><br /></div><div><div>The Supreme Court in February confirmed the death penalty awarded to Kohli in the case related to rape and murder of 14-year-old Rimpa Haldar. Kohli was sentenced to death along with Pandher by the Ghaziabad court on February 13, 2009, but later Allahabad High Court acquitted Pandher.u00a0</div><div><br /></div><div>The other cases which have been decided pertain to the killing of Aarti (8), Rachna (15) and Deepali (12).u00a0Earlier, a special CBI court had recorded the statement of Surendra Kohli, prime accused in Nithari serial killings, in the Chhoti Payal-case in which he defended himself saying he was "falsely" implicated in the case. The case had made headlines across the country in 2006.</div><div><br /></div><div><b>Animal or human?</b></div><div>In his statement, Kohli had described how he lured the girls and then strangulated them. He also confessed to have had sex with the dead bodies and eating parts of the bodies after cooking them.</div></div>
