Delhi: 150 bottles of premium foreign liquor seized in excise raids, five held

The excise department has enhanced enforcement in the national capital in view of the festival season, an official said

The Delhi government's excise department has busted a gang involved in adulteration of liquor and recovered several bottles of foreign liquor, officials said on Saturday.

Five persons were arrested and three separate FIRs registered in connection with the adulteration of high-end foreign liquor, they added. The gang included some bartenders who mixed premium foreign liquor with cheap India Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) for sale to customers.
