Delhi: AAP MLA Mohinder Goyal, brother acquitted by court in rape case

A special MP/MLA court in Delhi has acquitted Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Mohinder Goyal in a rape case. Goyal's brother Ishwar Chand Goyal has also been acquitted by the court. Goyal represents Rithala constituency in Delhi.

According to Bar and Bench, special judge Geetanjli Goel acquitted Goyal. “Vide separate judgement, accused Mohinder Goyal is acquitted of the offences under Sections 376(2)(n)/506/509 IPC," the order stated.
