Hydroponic marijuana worth Rs 34.9 crore seized at Delhi airport from Bangkok passengers

Officials at Indira Gandhi International Airport seized suspected hydroponic marijuana worth Rs 34.9 crore from two passengers arriving from Bangkok. The accused were arrested under provisions of the NDPS Act after Customs officers recovered over 34 kg of the contraband during baggage checks

Delhi Customs officials at the Indira Gandhi International Airport have seized 34,935 grams of suspected hydroponic marijuana from two passengers who arrived from Bangkok on flight TG-323, officials said on Thursday.
The contraband was detected after the passengers were flagged through the Advance Passenger Information System (APIS) profiling and intercepted by Customs officers after they crossed the Green Channel at the airport.
