New Delhi: A Delhi court has acquitted a man of the charges of sexually harassing and molesting his 17-year-old daughter after the girl said she had lodged a false complaint due to differences between her parents.
Additional Sessions Judge Gautam Manan absolved the man, a resident of north Delhi, of the offences under sections 354 (molestation), 506 (criminal intimidation) of IPC and section 12 (sexual harassment) of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, noting that the girl and her mother did not support the case.
