Delhi Police opposes wrestler Sushil Kumar's bail, says witnesses terrified of him

Delhi Police on Monday opposed the bail petition in Delhi High Court of wrestler Sushil Kumar, currently in judicial custody in the Sagar Dhankar murder case, saying that witnesses in the case are so terrified of the champion wrestler and his associates that one of them had moved court seeing protection.
23-year-old Dhankad, along with other wrestlers was allegedly abducted and beaten by Kumar and his accomplices inside Chhatrasal Stadium in the national capital on the night of May 4, 2021. Dhankad succumbed to his injuries and Kumar was arrested on May 23, 2021, on charges of murder.
